Privacy Policy
How we handle your data — what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit www.fitnesspicks.in. The short version: we do not ask you for anything. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no comment forms and no checkout on this site. What we do collect is the anonymised traffic data any website receives, and we use it to work out which reviews are useful.
Who we are
Fitness Picks is published by a registered One Person Company in India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described below.
CIN: U47210RJ2023OPC091386

What we collect
We do not operate any form that asks for your name, email address, phone number or payment details. The only personal data that reaches us is what your browser sends automatically and what our analytics tools record:
- Your approximate location, derived from your IP address — usually to city level, never a precise address.
- Device and browser information: type, operating system, screen size, language.
- Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and how you scrolled or clicked on them.
- The page or search that referred you to us.
We cannot identify you personally from any of this, and we do not try to. If you email us, we hold that email and your address so we can reply.
Cookies and analytics
We use third-party analytics to understand traffic patterns. These providers set cookies or use similar storage in your browser:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement: visitor counts, page popularity, traffic sources. Google processes this data as described in its own privacy policy. We have IP anonymisation enabled by default in GA4.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session and heatmap analysis, used to find layout and readability problems. Where it is enabled, Clarity masks text input by default.
We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels or third-party ad cookies on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not affect your ability to read anything here — nothing on this site is gated.
Affiliate links and Amazon
Our reviews link to products on Amazon India using an affiliate tag. When you click one of those links, Amazon may set its own cookie to attribute a later purchase to us. That cookie is set by Amazon, not by us, and we never see your order details, payment information or anything else about what you buy. We only receive aggregate reports showing that purchases occurred.
Once you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon's privacy policy governs what happens next. See our affiliate disclosure for how this relationship works and how it is kept separate from our scoring.
Why we process this data
To operate and improve the site: to see which reviews people find, where readers give up on a page, and whether the site works properly across devices. We also use it to detect abuse and keep the site available. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the analytics providers named above.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained on the providers' default schedules — currently up to 14 months for Google Analytics and around 12 months for Microsoft Clarity. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query and any follow-up.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to confirm what personal data of yours we hold, correct it, or erase it, and you may withdraw consent for analytics at any time by blocking cookies in your browser. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR apply, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
In practice, because we hold no accounts, the fastest route for most requests is to clear the cookies for this site — that removes the identifiers our analytics use. For anything else, email us and we will action it within 30 days.
Grievance officer
As required by the DPDP Act, complaints about how we handle your data can be sent to contact@fitnesspicks.in with "Privacy Grievance" in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge within 7 days and resolve within 30.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Some of the products we review — supplements in particular — are not appropriate for minors, and our reviews should not be read as recommendations for them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
