Recovery & Wellness Reviews
Foam rollers, massage guns, heating pads and yoga mats in India — ranked on build quality, whether the tech works, and whether the price is justified.
Recovery and wellness gear sold in India, from Rs.368 foam rollers to lakh-rupee massage chairs. We rank on build quality, whether the technology does what the listing claims, and whether the price is justified against the cheaper thing that does the same job.
Muscle recovery
Foam rollers remain the best value in recovery — a good one costs under Rs.1,000 and lasts years. Massage guns are faster and reach deeper, though most of the benefit arrives well below the flagship price point. For precise trigger-point work along the spine, calves and feet, peanut massage balls do what neither of the other two can.
Pain relief and posture
Heating pads are the first thing to reach for with back and period pain, and safety certification is the spec that matters. TENS and EMS machines work differently from each other despite being sold together — TENS for pain signals, EMS for muscle stimulation. Posture correctors help while worn but are a prompt, not a cure.
Massagers and mats
Foot massagers and massage chairs are the big-ticket end, where after-sales support in India matters more than the feature list. Electric eye massagers target screen fatigue, and scalp massagers are worth checking for hair-tangling before anything else. A yoga mat that grips on tile and marble is the foundation for all of it.
